The July 2024 edition of the BBC Sky at Night Magazine features a two page article article detailing how I processed my award winning Close Encounters of the Haslingden Kind image, initially by stacking the star shots using StarStax and then subsequently merging the sky and foreground images in Photoshop using layer masks.
In September 2023, I took part in an astrophotography podcast with some of the other winners of the Astronomy Photographer of the Year Award 2023. We discussed how we got into astrophotography, planning our shots, equipment etc.
